Conor McGregor got a big surprise from longtime head coach John Kavanagh ahead of his 28th birthday. Last night on the eve of his birthday, Kavanagh presented McGregor with his first two world title belts.

The Notorious posed along side Kavanagh with the two belts taking to Instagram: “On the eve of my 28th birthday @coach_kavanagh surprised me with the return of my first two World title belts! My 145lb and 155lb Cage Warrior titles!”

McGregor before entering the UFC held dual world titles in the featherweight and lightweight divisions for Cage Warriors, the largest European MMA organisation at the time.

“We’ve been collecting these World titles a long time now! A nice reminder of where we came from to where we are now!
Thank you coach for showing me the Martial Art life! #FightLife”.
