In a move more befitting the squared circle than the jiu-jitsu mats, the match between Marc Garcia and Claudio Lopes was ended when Lopes powerbombed his opponent as he attempted to buck free of a triangle choke.
The slam immediately KO’d Garcia before the referee stepped in, apparently unsure of what exactly the protocol is in situations such as this.
