UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes has her next title defence, and it’ll be in her native country of Brazil.
Today it was announced Nunes is scheduled to face Raquel Pennington at UFC 224, which takes place in rio de Janeiro. Pennington comes into the contest on a four fight winning streak, which includes a victory over former champion Miesha Tate.
Nunes has won six in a row, including victories over Tate, Ronda Rousey, and twice over Valentina Shevchenko.

The announcement comes just days after UFC president Dana White had publicly suggested he’d scrap Pennington’s title shot in order to put together a champion vs. champion fight between Nunes and Cris Cyborg.
