After a sixteen month wait, Douglas Lima last night regained the Bellator Welterweight championship by KOing Andry Koreshkov in their title rematch.
Lima, who dropped the belt to the Russian by unanimous decision in July of 2015, KOd Koreshkov a little over a minute into the third round, having waited well over a year for a chance to regain the strap.

The Brazilian fighter, whose brother Dhiego won the Titan FC Welterweight championship in June this year, wasn’t shy about celebrating the victory afterwards. That’s the face of redemption.
