Terrance McKinney just had a UFC debut to remember. For better and for worse.
The lightweight came in and landed a crisp popping 1-2 that dropped his opponent Matt Frevola to the floor before follow-up punches brought an end to proceedings in 7 seconds — the fasted KO in the division’s history. Then, however, disaster.
As McKinney leapt to the top of the cage to celebrate, he dropped back down with a thud and instantly fell to the floor and clutched his knee. He then hobbled back to his corner’s stool, and admitted to Joe Rogan he’d injured himself when jumping down from the cage.
