On January 18, Conor McGregor will return to the Octagon to meet Donald Cerrone.
It’s a contest that’s long been in the air, stemming back to a verbal altercation the pair had around five years ago. Back then, McGregor was a rapid rising featherweight and Cerrone was a lightweight title contender. Today, McGregor looks to return to the pinnacle of mixed martial arts, with Cerrone marking the first fight in what the Irishman is labelling his “2020 season.”
