SBG Ireland stalwart Peter ‘The Showstopper’ Queally has signed a deal with Bellator MMA.
News of the deal was first reported by Peter Carroll of MMA Fighting.
Queally, who is one of the primary training partners for Conor McGregor, joins an ever-growing Irish contingent in Bellator where teammates James Gallagher, Sinead Kavanagh, Charlie Ward, Kiefer Crosbie, Will Fleury and others also call home.
The Irishman, who is 11-4-1 in his professional career, scored arguably the biggest victory of his career in May when he knocked out the then 24-3 David Khachataryan in the main event of Fight Nights Global 87 in May.
He had been on the verge of a lightweight title shot in Fight Nights Global but will now turn his attention to the Bellator 155-pound frame.
