‘Relentless’ Charlie Ward will make his Bellator debut in Dublin on November 10th, it has been confirmed today.

Ward will face Irish veteran John Redmond (7-12), a veteran of Cage Warriors and BAMMA events, at middleweight — a weight class above the 170-pound limit where Ward’s two UFC appearances occurred.

The news of the fight booking was first reported by MMAFighting’s Peter Carroll.

Ward (3-3), who trains out of SBG Ireland, was defeated in his two performances inside the UFC’s octagon. In November of last year he lost his UFC debut in the first round against Abdul Razak Alhassan. His second fight, last July in Glasgow, Ward was again bested in opening round, this time to Galore Bofando.

The Ward vs. Redmond bout will serve as another Irish attraction to the Bellator Dublin card which is to be headlined by James Gallagher vs. Jeremiah Labiano.

The event is scheduled to take place at on November 10th inside Dublin’s 3 Arena.
