Diego Sanchez isn’t exactly known for quitting.
In fact, the The Ultimate Fighter season 1 winner has never tapped in 35 professional bouts. For an example of why that might be, you don’t need to look any further than at his fight at UFC Mexico against Marcin Held.

In a guillotine choke so deep that it lifted him off his feet, Sanchez propelled himself off the cage in order to fling Held away.
“Whatever the man Sean Shelby tells me to fight, I’m gonna fight,” Sanchez said, following his unanimous decision win. “Dana White, I don’t know if you’re here I haven’t seen you, but thank you for this awesome awesome career you’ve blessed me with.”
Then, after congratulating the translator for doing a great job, ‘The Nightmare’ left the cage victorious.
