When UFC commentator Joe Rogan asked whether The Notorious was surprised by the manner of his victory last night, the answer was never going to be in doubt.

“Not one bit was surprising, they are not at my level”.

McGregor, who became the UFC’s first ever simultaneous to-weight world champ after KOing Lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez, stated that the result was never a doubt in his mind as no opponent in either of his weight class can match his ability.

“They have got to have size, reach, length, you have got to have some attributes. If you come in any way equal to me I am going to rip your head off, it happens every time.

“Eddie is a solid competitor, Eddie is a warrior, but he shouldn’t have been in here with me and that’s just the truth of it”.

A historic night was capped off when the new Lightweight champ held both belts aloft, something he had his mind on from the opening lines of his post fight media duties.

“Where the f**k is my second belt? I’ve already got this one, where’s the second one at?”.
