It is sometimes said that a rematch often favours the fighter who lost the first time round and in the main event of UFC 213, Valentina Shevchenko not only gets the opportunity to reverse the result of her last meeting with Amanda Nunes — she will have a chance at seizing the UFC women’s bantamweight championship in the meantime.

This is a task very much easier said than done, however. Nunes, who fights for the first time since her stunning first round finish of Ronda Rousey last December, won the first meeting between herself and Shevchenko a little more than a year ago. The question remains: has Shevchenko added enough to her game to overcome the varied arsenal which Nunes will bring with her to the cage?

Two people perhaps best equipped to speak about this are Dan Hardy and John Gooden, and they analyse the UFC 213 main event from all angles in the latest episode of their web-series Inside the Octagon which you can watch in full below.
