The brewing feud between UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland and Ian Machado Garry has seen a new chapter.

Strickland, who has been a critic of unsubstantiated rumours regarding Garry’s personal life in the past couple of weeks, recently revealed a DM allegedly sent by the Irishman to him in which he threatened legal action if he didn’t stop spreading falsehoods about him. And on Thursday, Strickland once again took to social media to lob a broadside against Garry — this time after what Strickland says was an “awkward” meeting between the two at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas.

“I went to the P.I. today and I ran into the f*cking cuck Ian Garry,” Strickland said. “Awkward, man, awkward. He looked at me hard, security had to escort us around, f*cking awkward sh*t, I’m laughing my ass off.

“Anyway, Garry, I don’t f*cking hate you, dude, I actually like you. I think you’re a f*cking funny little dweeb. You make me f*cking laugh,” the UFC’s 185-pound champ added.

Machado Garry has remained somewhat tight-lipped in the past couple of weeks but is sure to be asked about the situation during press events for next week’s UFC 296 event in Las Vegas ahead of his fight with ranked welterweight Vicente Luque.

Strickland, meanwhile, is set to defend his world title against Dricus Du Plessis in the UFC 297 main event in Toronto in just over five weeks time.
