If you didn’t know it already, be aware: Shakkhat Rakhmanov is a serious threat at 170-pounds.

The Kazakh fighter owns a perfect 17-0 record in mixed martial arts (5-0 UFC) but what is all the more remarkable is that Rakhmanov, who is still just 29-year-old, has finished every single won of those wins in all manner of diverse ways. In fact, to prove that point, his record shows 8 knockout wins against nine submissions, showing that he is dangerous wherever the fight goes.

At UFC 296 next week, Rakhmanov takes on the two-time welterweight title challenger Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson in a fight which could underscore his growing title ambitions at 170 if he is able to maintain his streak of finishes.
