Nate Diaz took advantage of the Arizona Athletic Commission adopting relaxed rules from the UFC’s anti-doping program which has removed marijuana from its list of performance enhancing drugs at the UFC 263 presser on Thursday — by lighting up a joint on stage, and even offering a toke to Brandon Moreno. 

Changes to the anti-doping rules means that marijuana is now allowed either in or out of competition, with the only exception being if a fighter reports to an event clearly under impairment from the drug.

“Great working with AZ Commission, who are adopting our testing program/rules for this weekend,” UFC VP of Athlete Health and Performance Jeff Novitzky tweeted. “Only issue with marijuana (THC) for Saturday’s fights is don’t show up impaired or under the influence. How it should be!”

And this, it seems, is the only invitation Diaz required. Check out the footage below:
