Video has appeared online which purports to show UFC middleweight and former title challenger Marvin Vettori engaging in a dust-up at a boxing event in Italy.

Vettori, who has earned a reputation as being one of the more, shall we say, hot-headed fighters on the UFC roster during his tenure with the organisation, and has — according to reports at least — very much lived up to that after he jumped into a straightener involving his friend and Italian boxer and musician Omar Nguale Ilunga at a DAZN boxing event in Milan, Italy.

This is according to MMA reporter Al Zullino who posted footage of the altercation to social media, which appears to Show Vettori wade into a brawl and deliver a selection of hammer fists in the melee. Check it out below and judge for yourself.

The alleged brawl comes less than two weeks after Vettori scored a unanimous decision win against Roman Dolidze in the UFC’s most recent event in London; a victory which extends his winning record in the division against fighters not named Robert or Israel all the way back to 2016.

Afterwards, Vettori — which is ranked third in the UFC’s official 185-pounds rankings — attempted to position himself for a high profile fight with either Jared Cannonier, champion Alex Pereira or Israel Adesanya. Vettori already holds a pair of losses to Adesanya on his record from 2018 and 2021.
