Sergei Pavlovich is a problem for any of the UFC’s roster of heavyweights.

The 31-year-old Russian has competed seven times in the Octagon and has not seen the end of the first round on a single one of those occasions, winning six and losing just once — in his UFC debut against Alistair Overeem all the way back in November 2018. Pavlovich will get an opportunity this weekend to raise aloft UFC gold for the first time when he takes on Tom Aspinall with the interim heavyweight title on up for grabs in New York’s Madison Square Garden.
