Michael Chandler takes on his third UFC assignment this weekend and all indications are that it’s going to be a barn-burner.

Chandler, the former Bellator lightweight champion, is set to face Justin Gaethje in the UFC’s latest event in Madison Square Garden after the promotion’s annual 2020 card was waylaid due to the Covid-19 pandemic — and this is a fight that has been talked about for sometime, ever since Chandler was the face of Bellator and Gaethje was the was the same in the World Series of Fighting.

This Saturday night, that fantasy matchmaking will become a reality when the two hard-hitting lightweights square off as part of the a bumper UFC 268 card — and you can remind yourself of Chandler’s sole win in the Octagon to date in the below video where he defeated perennial lightweight contender Dan Hooker by first-round KO.
