Mateusz Gamrot is a problem at 155-pounds.

The Pole, regarded as one of the finest grapplers in the UFC’s lightweight fold, has won 7 of 9 UFC bouts to date since entering the promotion in 2020 on the back of an unbeaten run in the first 18 fights of his career primarily with the KSW promotion.

His UFC debut, which came against Guram Kuteladze, saw him lose for the first time in his career (via split decision) before rebounding with a series of wins — one of which came over the division’s current top contender, Arman Tsarukyan.

Gamrot will seek to extend his current winning streak later this month when he fights Dan Hooker at the UFC’s return to Perth, Australia for UFC 305.
