Given what he did to Colby Covington in the Octagon last month, a knockout win over Joaquin Buckley is not to be sniffed at.
Buckley, winner of six straight at 170-pounds, last suffered defeat in December 2022 when he was collapsed to the canvas by a pinpoint left hand issued by Chris Curtis in what was one of the 17 (!) knockout wins on the American’s career record.
Curtis will look to make that 18 this weekend when he fights Roman Kopylov inside the UFC Apex on Saturday night in a highly-anticipated fight on the organisation’s debut card of 2025.
