This weekend, British UFC standout Arnold Allen faces the toughest test of his career when he takes on former featherweight champion Max Holloway in a main event showdown in Kansas City, Missouri. And judging by his most recent showings in the cage, the 19-1 fighter is more than up to the task.

It was just over a year ago when Allen took on what was at the time his toughest fight — the well-respected, tough as nail Dan Hooker who was moving down to featherweight after battling some of the most seasoned lightweight fighters on the planet. But when it comes to seasoned fighters, you can add Arnold Allen to that list.

The Englishman didn’t afford Hooker a moment to breathe as he poured on offence in a furious first round which saw him claim a TKO win just past the midway point of the first round, and put him directly on a path to title contention which could be underscored this weekend against 145-pound legend Holloway.

See below for a reminder of what Allen can do under the bright lights.
