If there’s anything Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza is known for, it’s world class jiu-jitsu. At UFC Charlotte, he showed he was far more well rounded than his reputation would suggest.

Facing Derek Brunson in the main event in a rematch, Souza started out at a far more slower pace than usual. And it turned out that taking his time and working out the range helped the Brazilian rather well.

Early in the first, Souza landed a heavy head kick to the increasingly aggressive Brunson, sending the American sprawling to the canvas. At that point, Souza calmly wandered over and landed a few extra strikes to draw a close to the contest.
