Mike Perry is, putting mildly, something of a character.
The UFC welterweight is set to fight tomorrow night in front of a hometown crowd of Orlando, Florida against Max Griffin. It’ll be a chance for Perry to bounce back from a recent defeat to Santiago Ponzinibbio, and a chance to perform in front of his nearest and dearest.
But while in the past Perry has been seen as an angry, aggressive fighter (outside of the cage as well as in), today at the weigh-ins, he showed he can have a joke with his opponents as well as threaten them.
For instance, trying to pull down Griffin’s sweatpants in the middle of a staredown.
Almost got 'em @PlatinumPerry! 😂 #UFCOrlando pic.twitter.com/BOlqwJWXo7
