We could have seen the last of Derrick Lewis in the UFC Octagon.
Following a fourth round stoppage loss to Mark Hunt, Lewis was interviewed by Brian Stann in the Octagon, and shocked fans by stating that it was most likely the last time we’d ever see him in the cage.

“This was probably my last fight,” Lewis said. “I’m getting married next week, I don’t like to put my family through this, and that was my last fight.
“Most likely that’ll be my last fight in the UFC.”
If it is the end of Lewis’ career as an active fighter, it’ll be the end to one of the most entertaining heavyweights of recent times, with Lewis’ social media and post-fight comments becoming things of legend.
