The UFC maiden event in Paris, France will proceed without a hitch following Friday’s weigh-ins.

Both men involved in the main event, heavyweights Ciyrl Gane and Tai Tuivasa, fell within the acceptable limits for a heavyweight fighter when they registered 247-pound and 266-pounds respectively — the latter being the highest possible weight in mixed martial arts before entering super-heavyweight territory.

Elsewhere, a middleweight co-main event between former champion Robert Whittaker and Italy’s Marvin Vettori will also go ahead as planned after both registered the non-title limit of 186-pounds.

Not one fighter on the card missed weight for the card set to take place at the Accor Arena in the French capital, meaning that the event will have its full compliment of 12 fights as it looks to develop into what could become a key new market for the organisation.
