The UFC’s debut event in the Russian capital of Moscow has an official main event as both Mark Hunt and Aleksei Oleinik made weight for the heavyweight featured bout inside the city’s Olympic Stadium, though two undercard fighters failed to register their contracted weight on the scales at Friday’s weigh-ins in the UFC host hotel.

‘The Super Samoan’ Mark Hunt lived up to his gargantuan nickname, coming in right on the heavyweight limit of 265-pounds. His opponent, submission expert Oleinik, will give up significant weight to his opponent, as he stepped on the scales at 230-pounds earlier on Friday.

Jin Soo Son and Mairbek Taisumov are the two fighters guilty of missing weight. Son was a pound heavy for his bantamweight clash with one of the sport’s top prospects, Petr Yan. Taisumov, however, missed his weight a bit more egregiously and was 161-pounds for his lightweight bout with Desmond Green.

As a result, Son forfeited 20 percent of his purse to his opponent while Taisumov hands over 40 percent of his.
