UFC London is taking shape, and is doing so with two big English names in the main and co-main event slots.

After just two days of speculation, Darren Till has been confirmed to be the main event as he faces Jorge Masvidal, with the Liverpudlian staying at 170-pounds for the time being. In the co-main event, Leon Edwards comes off his win over Donald Cerrone to meet Gunnar Nelson, who gets right back into the swing of things after defeating Alex Oliveira at UFC 231 last month. ESPN’s Brett Okamoto was the first to reveal both announcements.

It’s Till’s first bout since his loss to Tyron Woodley — a particularly sound drubbing that had many questioning if he’d be looking to move to middleweight. Instead, he’ll remain at welterweight and returning to home soil, just as he did to beat Stephen Thompson last year in front of a raucous Liverpool audience.

Till had been linked with 170-pound rival Colby Covington, but the American appears to still be at odds with UFC bosses after losing his shot at Woodley.
