There have been no last minutes hitches for Saturday night’s top fights at UFC 273.

The four men who will compete in the two title fights, as well as the much-hyped main card contest between Gilbert Burns and Khamzat Chimaev, all successfully made weight in Jacksonville, Florida on Friday ahead of tomorrow night’s fight card.

Aljamain Sterling, who defends the bantamweight title, weighed in a half pound under the championship limit after which he was visibly emotional on the scales, telling the media that “it’s been a long time” and “I’m back, baby!”. His opponent Petr Yan also tipped the scales under championship weight at 134-pounds.

The main event fighters also hit their mark, with featherweight champ Alexander Volkanovski weighing in at 144.5 while title challenger Chan Sung Jung, otherwise known as the Korean Zombie, also registered the same weight.

Gilbert Burns and Khamzat Chimaev, meanwhile, notably hit championship weight when they stepped on the scales at 170.
