The Kelvin Gastelum vs. Donald Cerrone for tomorrow night has been scrapped.
Gastelum, a late replacement for Robbie Lawler, has failed to make weight — the third time in his career he has failed to do so.
The (supposed) welterweight confirmed the news on his social media, and didn’t take to the scales.
I will not be fighting @Cowboycerrone 2morrow on account that I couldn't make the wght limit. I apologize 2 cowboy ure a legend. God bless.

No one is perfect. We all have bad days but I promise it will not happen again. I will comeback stronger like I have before. Until next time

At this stage, it’s unlikely someone could step in on such short notice, meaning Cerrone won’t be fighting tomorrow night — a fact he was visibly angered by at the weigh ins.
While the UFC had Jacare Souza on retainer to be available should a fighter be pulled from the card, him being 185-pounds to Cerrone’s 170 means the NYAC commission wouldn’t sanction the bout.
