That’s one in the win column for SBG’s Peter Queally.

The long time training partner of Conor McGregor earned himself a win over Russian fighter Igor Egorov at  Fight Nights Global 64 after getting the judges decision. In the end, Queally simply put a pace on that the Russian couldn’t match, and Egorov visibly wilted in the second, and was nearly stopped on multiple occasions throughout the third.

The Irishman has long been linked with a move to the UFC, and reportedly came exceptionally close ahead of UFC 202 last Summer. Since then, he has been fighting on the regional circuit, building his record awaiting the call-up.

Perhaps it’s this win that will cement that call.
