Robbie Lawler, former welterweight champion, has decided to leave American Top Team and look for a new camp.
Reports, first broken by EntImports emerged Wednesday that Lawler had decided to leave the team where he’s resided since the early 2000s. He’s the first man to bring the team a title.
Lawler, who has been out of action since last July, where he lost his title to Tyron Woodley at UFC 201, will now look for a new camp to train out of before of his next bout — which is as yet unknown.
ATT is home to various of well known stars, including welterweight champion Tyron Woodley (who also trains with Duke Roufus), women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jędrzejczyk, middleweight contender Yoel Romero.
