Three rounds all going his way, with the only discussion being about how much, Nurmagomedov showed that — can he stay active — he is one of the top tier fighters in any division. And it wasn’t just the fans and pundits saying as such.

Khabib never gave Edson space to create and truly set up big combos. Safely got to clinch/over-under as opposed to doing an extreme level change which would expose him to a knee. Smart and persistent pressure mixed with heavy GnP did the job. #UFC219
