When Chris Weidman defeated Kelvin Gastelum at UFC Long Island, it wasn’t just the fans that went crazy.

With Weidman a well respected figure in the mixed martial arts community, it’s no surprise that many of his peers were happy to see the former champion receive a change in fortune.
