‘The Showstopper’ has drawn his next Bellator lightweight assignment.

Peter Queally, the fifth-ranked 155-pound fighter on the promotion’s roster, isn’t wasting any time in getting back in there after his unsuccessful title challenge against Patricky Freire in November and will take on the dangerous Englishman Kane Mousah at the event scheduled to take place on February 25 in Dublin’s 3 Arena.

The Irishman will be seeking a definitive win to get back into title contention, and earn another crack against Freire — the man whom he defeated in their first meeting this past May.

Meanwhile, official confirmation was also announced for the middleweight title fight between champion Gegard Mousasi and Austin Vanderford which will top the card.

A host of Irish fighters are also expected to compete at the event. Brian Moore will fight against an opponent to be confirmed while the much-hyped prospect Darragh Kelly will also make his professional debut following a 9-0 stint in the amateurs.

Leah McCourt, who has gone 5-0 under the Bellator banner as she chases a bout with featherweight champion Cris Cyborg, has also hinted on social media that she will likely be placed on the card, though no confirmation has come for that as of yet.

A lightweight fight between Charlie Leary and Davy Gallon was also announced, with further bouts expected to be revealed in the coming days and weeks.
