Marlon Moraes says he’s ready to fight Jimmie Rivera, and clearly didn’t take kindly to some of the words made by his fellow 135-pounder.

For a moment in December, it appeared the two would face off after John Lineker pulled out of a fight with Rivera ahead of UFC 219. Moraes and Rivera began getting at each other online, with Rivera even suggesting they meet at a catchweight in order to give Moraes less issues accepting the fight, only for the deal to fall through and Rivera to be pulled from the card.

Now, it seems Moraes is ready to get back into the Octagon, and posted to his own social media today to say that he had received a fight contract to meet Rivera in the cage.

He also appears to be giving Rivera a couple of options, saying the contract could either be for an unspecified UFC on FOX card (likely February 24 in Orlando) or at UFC 222 on March 4 in Las Vegas.
