When Justin Gaethje fights, it’s almost guaranteed to be must see television. When he’s fighting someone he legitimately doesn’t like, who knows the level of violence he might try to bring to the cage. And let him be clear — he doesn’t like tonight’s opponent James Vick.

“I can’t wait to knock him out,” Gaethje said, speaking with FOX Sports. “Make him pay for every single word that’s come out of his mouth. I don’t like the guy. I didn’t like him before I was fighting him. I don’t respect the game he plays, the fight he fights.”

The two have been going back and forth for some time, with Vick consistently lobbing personal insults at Gaethje, and both deriding each other’s fighting style for months. Tonight, they meet in the main event of UFC Lincoln, where Gaethje is once again planning on coming to town with his usual strategy.

Hit the other guy as many times as possible.

“I’ve been training with a lot of 170, 185-pounders,” Gaethje said. “Not gonna find a lot of 155-pounders that are 6’3, so. I’m going to go out there, he’s 6’3, he has to have fragile bones. I’m going to go out there and make my bones touch his bones and see who’s stronger.”
