An undisclosed injury has removed Darren Till from his UFC London co-main event fight with Jack Hermansson.

Till had been looking to rebound from a September 2021 loss to Derek Brunson (his fourth loss in his past five) in front of a sympathetic crowd in London but his return to the cage has now been delayed. News of the injury was first reported by ESPN.

The Liverpool native has been in the headlines in recent months due to his partnership with UFC welterweight Khamzat Chimaev, with Till spending extensive time training with the 170-pounds contender in Sweden as he prepared for his return to the Octagon — but fight fans will have to wait a while longer to see what Till has picked up from Chimaev.

Till will be replaced on the UFC London card by Chris Curtis, the American veteran who has won his first three bouts in the UFC.

Hermansson, meanwhile, has blown hot and cold recently, alternating wins and losses in his last five and fights for the first time since he dropped a split decision against Sean Strickland earlier this year.

The UFC’s latest event from the English capital will take place on July 23 and will be headlined by a heavyweight clash between Tom Aspinall and Curtis Blaydes.
