Gunnar ‘Gunni’ Nelson, though Icelandic by birth, shares a strong connection to the Irish people; being a longtime member of Coach John Kavanagh’s SBG Ireland and a staple in the training camps of Conor McGregor.
He’s coming off a decisive victory over Albert Tumenov and is surely looking to stamp his mark on the welterweight division with another win.
Kim, hasn’t stepped foot inside the octagon since late 2015, and his only loss in his last 7 fights was at the hands of current champion Tyron Woodley.
UFC Belfast: Nelson vs Kim, takes place on November 19, at the The SSE Arena Belfast.
