Georges St-Pierre might be retired… but as we all know, that can always change in mixed martial arts.

The UFC legend has made no secret of his desire to fight UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, and it’s known he attempted to negotiate that fight before announcing his leaving the sport earlier this year. Still, St-Pierre says, the opportunity to get that fight could still be too enticing to turn down.

Speaking with ESPN MMA, St-Pierre revealed that if the UFC came calling with a Nurmagomedov fight, he could still be tempted to strap the gloves on one last time.

“If the right fight came along, they know where to find me,” St-Pierre said. “They tried to make the right fight, but it didn’t work out. If everything is aligned, contractually, as we speak now, yes I would (return).”

St-Pierre last fought in the Octagon in 2017, where he beat Michael Bisping to claim the middleweight title. He’s considered one of the best to have ever competed in the sport, and is a sure fire future Hall of Famer.
