Bellator MMA has announced another trip to the English capital for their 200th event, the organisation confirmed by press release today.

Bellator 200, which is scheduled for Friday May 25th at the SSE Arena in London, will be headlined by a middleweight title bout between champion Rafael Carvalho (15-1) and the recent Bellator signee Gegard Mousasi (43-6-2).

Mousasi has competed just once under the Bellator banner, a unanimous decision win against Alexander Shlemenko last October. Prior to that, Mousasi put together a 9-3 record in the UFC — including a win against former middleweight champion Chris Weidman in his last bout for the company.

Carvalho, meanwhile, has won 15 straight bouts since losing his professional debut in 2011 and will be looking to defend his title for the fourth time.

Undefeated Londoner Michael ‘Venom’ Page (12-0) is also slated to compete in what will likely be his sternest test to date when he faces David Rickels (19-4-0-2) in a welterweight bout. Rickels, a fighter who has fought the majority of his recent career in the lightweight, is perhaps best known for a pair of bouts opposite Michael Chandler, the first of which was for the organisation’s 155-pound title in the final of the season 8 lightweight tournament.

After a series of sensational performances which catapulted Page towards stardom, he has been inactive since a win against Fernando Gonzalez in November of 2016.

As per MMAFighting.com, the event will take place at local time in the UK and will be broadcast via tape delay in the United States.
