Donald Cerrone, owner of the BMF Ranch, has no qualms with Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal fighting for the ‘BMF Belt’.

If anything, he’s happy for them. Today in Vancouver, Cerrone spoke to the media in lieu of an open workout, where he was asked if he had any thoughts on the upcoming Baddest Motherfucker title fight.

“That’s cool though, good for them,” Cerrone said. “I don’t have any hate or anything silly toward them, good for them.”

When asked if he was ever tempted to trademark the letters, Cerrone shrugged off the suggestion in his usual laid back manner. He did similar with the idea he could always just win the title himself.

“There we go,” Cerrone said, laughing. “Both of them whooped my ass already so that would be kind of hard.”

Instead, Cowboy has his eyes on the lightweight division, believing he could be destined to meet 155 champion Khabib Nurmagomedov should he defeat Justin Gaethje this weekend in Canada.

“After I beat Gaethje, there’s nobody else,” Cerrone said. “That’s it, there is no one in front of me. I do want to fight in December though. I’ll have to take a little 155 break go to 170, we’ll see.

“I think people need to welcome Khabib to the ground,” Cerrone continued. “I’d let him. Come on in. Let’s go. How does Khabib do on his back? What if I take Khabib down? Who knows? Shit.”
