Conor McGregor has offered his condolences to those affected by the tragic violence in Las Vegas recently.
Writing on Instagram, McGregor said: “Absolutely devastated upon hearing the news in Las Vegas. A city with so much energy and life. A city of celebration and enjoyment. A city so close to my heart. I pray for all the victims, their families, and everyone affected by this senseless act of violence.”
McGregor has fought six times in Las Vegas, most recently the boxing match with Floyd Mayweather in August.
Meanwhile, as reported yesterday, the UFC have confirmed that this weekend’s UFC 216 scheduled for the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas will go ahead as planned.

UFC president Dana White also confirmed that the UFC will donate $1 million directly to the people affected by the tragedy.
