Unbeaten BKFC star Mike Perry has got his wish.

Perry, who is a perfect 5-0 in the Conor McGregor co-owned Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, has been vocally campaigning for a bout with YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul — and following the recent withdrawal of boxing icon Mike Tyson from a scheduled bout opposite the ‘Problem Child’ next month, it appears that the stars have aligned for ‘Platinum.’

Happy Punch was first the report the news of the hastily-arranged bout.

Paul had been expected to fight Mike Tyson, 57, in the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on July 20 but the former heavyweight champ, who was to be fighting professionally for the first time in two decades, withdrew after experiencing a medical issue on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles last month that was blamed on an ulcer flare-up.

That bout has been rescheduled to November 15.

Paul is 9-1 in his boxing career to date. He scored successive first-round knockouts of journeymen fighters Ryan Bourland and Andre August in recent bouts, and has been defeated just once in his career to date — a split decision loss to Tommy Fury in February 2023.

Perry, meanwhile, has surged to success in the bare-knuckle boxing ruleset, securing wins over well-regarded opponents like Luke Rockhold, Eddie Alvare, Michael ‘Venom’ Page and, in April, former UFC world title challenger Thiago Alves.
