The Russian Hammer is back.

Artem Lobov has been handed his next octagon assignment. The UFC veteran will face Zubaira Tukhugov in a featherweight contest at UFC Moncton on October 27.

News of the bout was confirmed by the UFC’s social media team on Monday afternoon.

Lobov, an Ultimate Fighter finalist, has gone 2-2 in his last four UFC bouts where he has earned wins against Chris Avila and Teruto Ishihara and dropped decisions to Cub Swanson and Andre Fili.

Tukhugov, meanwhile, has gone 3-1 in the UFC since debuting with the organisation in February 2014. The bout will come almost exactly two years to the day since Tukhugov failed a USADA drug test for a sample collected out of competition, after which the Chechen fighter was issued a two-year ban.

UFC Moncton will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout between Anthony Smith and Volkan Oezdemir.
