It’s not just mixed martial arts that can produce a few interesting Twitter beefs. It seems as if boxing has it’s own little social media interactions too.
Recently U.K. boxer Amir Khan took to Twitter to announce that he and his wife, Faryal Makhdoom, would be separating. While that might not be newsworthy in itself, it was Khan’s next few messages that caught the public’s attention.
So me and the wife Faryal have agreed to split. I’m currently in Dubai. Wish her all the best.

“Faryal moved on quick,” Khan wrote. “Always mentioned to me how much she wanted to be with another guy, from all people another boxer @anthonyjoshua. Lol moved up in the weight classes lol. Trust me I ain’t the jealous type. No need to send me pictures of the men your talking to #disgusted.”
Naturally the internet exploded, with people offering Khan support, insults or just asking for his ex-wife’s number. While that would have been enough for one day, things went up another notch when Joshua himself joined the fray.
