Heading into Saturday night’s boxing match between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder, most of the boxing punditry predicted an easy win for Wilder — heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua included.

Coming out of the 12 round epic, Fury silenced those doubters, rising to the occasion in just his third fight back after a two year stint of boozing and drug taking. In the immediate aftermath, there’s been numerous angles pushed by the public.

Naturally, a rematch between Fury and Wilder has been proposed, with the controversial nature of their draw — as well as a long discussed fight between Wilder and Joshua. Certainly, it’s the latter that Joshua is targeting, as today he took to his social media to respond to a story that hinted Wilder was more interested in that bout than a Fury rematch.

“What took this fool so long? Like we ain’t been interested?!! 🙄” Joshua posted. “Anyway well done Fury! they wanted to get you because they assumed you was finished!! I’ll give you a fair one when your ready! Either one of you!”

It’s believed Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn is set to engage in talks with Wilder’s team next week.
