It seems that much of the MMA world has been begging for someone to shut up internet bad-boy Jake Paul, and in a couple of weeks time former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley will get his shot to do just that.

Paul, the YouTuber turned novice boxer (and bona fide box office draw) will take on the toughest test of his ‘boxing’ career on August 29 when he faces Woodley, a fighter with proven power in his hands — and far more so than Paul’s prior tests against Ben Askren, a basketball player and another YouTuber.

Woodley will be fighting for the first time since he was defeated by Vicente Luque in what was his final UFC bout, a run he ended after losing four straight fights for the organisation but in Paul he faces a fighter who is still largely an unknown quantity having not been tested in each of his three last fights.

The fight card will also feature Amanda Serrano (who has been linked to fights with Katie Taylor on several occasions) who will defend her WBC and WBO featherweight titles against Yamileth Mercado in the co-main event, while Tommy Fury (brother of Tyson) also takes on former Bellator fighter (and one-time James Gallagher opponent) Anthony ‘Pretty Boy’ Taylor.
