Mike Tyson will return to boxing against fellow Hall of Famer Roy Jones Jr.
The two retired boxers will return to action in an exhibition contest, with September 12 targeted in California. It will be eight rounds, and per a report from Yahoo Sport’s Kevin Iole, Dignity Health Sports Park is the venue targeted.

Also per Iole, the two will not be wearing headgear but 12-ounce gloves.
“This isn’t a situation where they’re going out there to try to take each other’s heads off,” Foster told Yahoo Sports. “They’re just going to be in there moving around the ring and letting fans see these legends.”
Tyson, 54, hasn’t competed since 2005, while Jones announced his intention to walk away from the sport in 2018. Tyson had been completely against a return until lately, when he did a 180 degree turn and announced his interest in fighting once again.
The two were linked for a contest in the past, when Jones Jr. moved to heavyweight and won a world title some years back.
