Darren Till has become one of the most talked about fighters in the UFC in the last 12 months and while he fell short in his quest to seize the UFC welterweight title from Tyron Woodley in the UFC 228 main event last Saturday night, he certainly got the rapper talking too.

In a video released on social media, Snoop Dogg could be heard commenting on the Woodley vs. Till bout last Saturday night — and he apparently appears to have confused Till with another Woodley rival, Colby Covington whose support of President Trump has been a hot topic among the MMA community.

As the rapper watched Woodley unleashing ground n’ pound on the Englishman in the second round, Snoop Dogg was heard saying racially insensitive phrases, as well as “F*ck Donald Trump.”

As you might expect, Till addressed the incident in his first social media post following the loss.

After congratulating Tyron Woodley on his performance, Till wrote: “Snoop Dogg, you’re a f**king bitch. F**k you!”

This isn’t the first time that Snoop Dogg has come under fire from UFC fighters. The rapper was a co-host of the first season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series and drew criticism for comments made during several bouts.

In February of this year, Matt Brown was highly critical of Snoop Dogg for comments he made about Conor McGregor following last year’s boxing match with Floyd Mayweather.

“Snoop Dogg, that piece of shit. I’ll call him out,” Brown said. “He called Conor, remember he called him a bitch? That’s not cool. I don’t care. He put it out in public. He could have apologized, deleted it, whatever. If I go to the UFC PI, I might just punch him if I see him there. I’m cool with that.

“That really offends me,” Brown said. “Because Conor, people all have their opinions about him, I respect the s–t out of that guy,” Brown said about McGregor. “I love what he’s done. I love his schtick. I think he’s a true sportsman. I like he comes into the limelight for a little while and then he goes back and I think he goes back and he works his ass off. I really think he does.”
