For the first time (and to the best of our knowledge) since Lyoto Machida vs. Rashad Evans all those years ago, two undefeated fighters will do battle for UFC gold when Israel Adesanya attempts to defend his 185-pounds title against the never-bested Paulo Costa.

Verbal back-and-forths have been issued between the two men for much of the last two years, with both fighters swearing that they will be the one to end the other’s undefeated run — but just one of them will be correct.
