James Gallagher has been forced out of his Bellator 196 main event with an injury and will longer meet Adam Borics at the April card.
Gallagher suffered an injury during training, and while it won’t keep him out for a prolonged period, the Irishman will be unable to make the walk in Budapest, Hungary.
It’s quite the frustrating setback for the young SBG man. After an emphatic victory over Chinzo Machida in New York last year, Gallagher suffered a knee injury that required surgery.
While Bellator are looking to keep Borics on the card, the new main event will be Benson Henderson vs. a returning Roger Huerta (as reported first by MMAFighting).
